Derek De Jesus, CxA, over the past 25 years Mr De Jesus has been a quality inspector, commissioning provider and a commissioning owner representative for many of the hyper scale mission critical data center technology companies. As a solicitor and manager of the commissioning process Mr De Jesus brings a perspective of reducing waste, improving efficiency, shifting left issue finding and aligning quality scopes to make building projects of all types operate more efficiently and teams more effectively. He currently serves ACG as the Chair of the Education Committee and expert in the commissioning process for data centers and similar mission critical facilities. Mr De Jesus was classically trained as an electrical CxA and has used that to springboard into a well rounded certified CxA of all equipment and systems.

Darren Draper, PE, CxA, LEED AP, Epsten Group, A Salas O’Brien Company has 16 years of experience in the building services industry. He serves as commissioning agent on a wide range of facilities including university buildings, research laboratories, healthcare facilities, and data centers. He performs commissioning and retro-commissioning for HVAC, DDC controls, electrical, and plumbing systems. He also performs site investigation, equipment evaluation, corrective action, replacement part orders, energy-use evaluation, and reporting.
