The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) will exhibit at AHR Expo 2019, the world’s largest HVACR marketplace, in booth 6253. In conjunction with the Expo, ACG is conducting a newly expanded, two-day workshop and exam for its Commissioning Authority (CxA) Certification on February 4-5, 2020. This workshop covers all aspects of commissioning ranging from project management to functional testing, and entails many group breakout activities to develop and discuss samples of key commissioning deliverables. The CxA exam is a 4-hour, closed-book exam that tests candidates on their knowledge of the commissioning process, as well as a general understanding of building systems and how commissioning fits in with the rest of the construction process.
Robert Knoedler, P.E., CxA, EMP, Hanson Professional Services Inc. will deliver technical presentation “Essential Techniques and Calculations for Energy Managers & Commissioning Authorities.” This seminar will provide energy and facility managers and commissioning personnel a review of the calculations, formulas and unit conversions needed for ASHRAE level audits and Cx activities.
