EMA -- Energy Management

Overview

EMA — Energy Management

The Energy Management Process was designed by commissioning and energy management experts who saw a need for Energy Management Professionals (EMP) to meet the needs of the building owner effectively and efficiently. This unique process helps to ensure that in addition to achieving energy efficiency, the building will operate at optimum performance. While the Energy Management Process was developed by ACG, management of the program has been transferred to the Energy Management Association (EMA). EMA is a new and innovative association that is dedicated to advancing the quality of energy management products and services for the benefit of the building owner.EMA’s EMP seminar is available through both live events and an online video study program. EMP Certification exams can be taken immediately after the live seminars or remotely in conjunction with the video program. Complete information on certification eligibility requirements, application and registration forms, live seminar dates and the video link is found here on EMA’s website.

If you are a building owner or facility manager looking for a better way to increase energy efficiency and cut costs without compromising performance, please visit EMA’s Membership Page for a searchable list of certified EMPs and/or learn how your organization can join EMA.
